Lasik Eye Surgery True Story Shared By Myself

This story is for my family and buddies who wonder what it's like to go via a Lasik eye surgery vision correction procedure. I've shared my experiences with one or two colleagues at work that have also had Lasik eye surgery done, and you will find sufficient variations to give insight to those who are attempting to choose between different Lasik eye surgery physicians or different Lasik eye surgery centers.

First, my Lasik eye surgery process was scheduled for 4 PM in the afternoon, which was fine with me. One of the directions for patient that has just had a Laser eye surgery process was to go to sleep as soon as feasible, in order for that healing process to begin as rapidly as possible. And usually by the end of the afternoon I am too tired right after working all day to become really nervous. Well, generally anyway.

I had only been there a few minutes when I was called into a room to prepare me for the Lasik eye surgery procedure, and to get instructions (again!) on how to care for my eyes once the Lasik eye surgery vision correction has been done. They offered me some Ativan, which is a mild sedative just to keep me calm throughout the Lasik eye surgery procedure. The lasers themselves monitor any head or eye movement and turn themselves off when it occurs, so it isn't that the sedative is for anything other than psychological reasons. I took it anyway. All of my colleagues at work also took it, although none of us truly felt any various than we did prior to. Apparently it is a Really mild sedative.

My eyes were prepared for that Lasik eye surgery process by becoming dosed with eye numbing drops and some kind of medication. I can't be sure from the other pre-operative steps, as I think I was trying very difficult not to believe about either Lasik eye surgery or my eyes. Perhaps the sedative was a bit stronger than I imagined it was. Lasik Eye Surgery Cost explained here.

At this point I was escorted into another room for some time, where I sat back, listened to the piped-in music, and awaited my turn in the Lasik eye surgery operating space. There had been two other individuals waiting with me in this space, so apparently my doctor various setup for his Lasik eye surgery patients than my colleagues. Both were alone in their pre-op rooms until they had been escorted into the space exactly where the Lasik eye surgery process was really performed.

As to the Lasik eye surgery process itself, all of us have similar memories from this process. Each of us felt some pressure when the numerous Lasik eye surgery implements were utilized on our eyes, though there wasn't any actual discomfort or pain. There was a blurring of vision for that eye becoming worked on, but the real sensation was mainly audio - the whirring and clicks from the machine. One of my buddies also remembers a distinct smell, somewhat reminiscent of hair burning. There may have been a slight smell throughout my Lasik eye surgery process, but it wasn't substantial sufficient for my attention to be focused on it. Go here for information on Laser Eye Treatment

After a short amount of time, my Lasik eye surgery physician said he was done and that I had been a great patient. In all of our Lasik eye surgery experiences, the operation itself was much simpler than all of our worries about it beforehand. I hope this helps those of you considering having a Lasik eye surgery procedure done.
